The Generac 18/17 kW Air-Cooled Standby Generator with updated EPA certification, a  pocket-friendly power backup with MobileLink remote monitoring, TruePower tech and 10-amp 16-circuit transfer switch, is your power ring of protection that keeps all your appliances up and running and circuit-protected during power outages.

GENERAC G-FORCE ENGINE

Purpose-built to maximize efficiency, the pressure-lubricated G-Force engine provides reliable alternate power supply that kickstarts quickly with electronic ignition. The engine automatically shuts-off during low-oil pressure and high temperature to prevent any  damage. During operation, the engine is kept cool with plateau honed cylinder walls and plasma moly rings, thus reducing oil consumption and minimizing maintenance.

AIR-COOLED GENERATOR

Generac’s 18kW standby generator operates 25% more efficiently than a revolving armature generator. A small, light weight unit, this generator with its displaced phase excitation maximizes motor starting capability. An automatic voltage regulator is in place to regular and handle voltage spikes.

WHOLE HOUSE TRANSFER SWITCH

Designed to installed both indoors and outdoors, the fully automatic transfer switch transfers all connected vital electrical loads to your standby generator whenever the power conks out. Its low-cost installation model allows you to remotely mount it near the existing distribution panel for optimal efficiency.

SMART USER-FRIENDLY CONTROLS

The two-line multilingual LCD with intuitive controls gives you hands-on info with logs of history, maintenance and up to 50 event occurrences. The weather-resistant user interface with smooth, raised button allow smoother operation. Sensors for utility voltage and generator voltage are in place to constantly monitor and alert. 

DURABLE UNIT

Engineered to supply you with uninterrupted power, Generac’s standby generator is encased in corrosion-resistant, RhinoCoat powder-coated finish aluminum that can brave winds up to 150mph. All routine maintenance controls can be accessed by lifting out the front lid.
