The FPV-Power Motor Controller PWM 50A V2 can increase your runtime as opposed to a standard throttle. This PWM comes with a forward/reverse switch to make getting in and out of tight spaces so much easier. This new version also comes with waterproof connections. The entire PWM box is weather and splash-proof, just make sure you don’t fully submerge the box in the water! There is also a voltmeter on the box so you can always keep an eye on your battery levels. The PWM box pulses the exact amount of power needed to reach your desired speed. A typical throttle on the motor controls the speed by passing the power through resistors, which ends up burning off excess energy and decreasing the amount of power that reaches your motor. The advantages of the PWM box are noticed at lower throttle rates, drastically increasing your runtime. However, if you are running at full throttle, you won’t notice any difference between the standard throttle and the PWM box. With the PWM box, you also have proportional throttle control. This control allows you to make precise adjustments to your speed, which is a huge bonus if you like to troll a lot!
